How and when did you decide, or discover, that you were to be a writer?
Yes, when I was at school we had to put a story together for some classwork. Imagine my shock when the teacher read out my story to the class. It was a moment when I realised, hmm, maybe I’m not too bad at this. It was a long, long time ago mind!
What inspired you to write flash fiction?
I’m a member of a writers’ forum called The Write Idea. One of the great things on there is a weekly flash where we have to write a story in under 350 words. A lot tougher than it sounds.
Describe your writing process.
Normally in the evening, I look on youtube to put some music on and decide what to do in regards to reading or writing. I am of the pantster type of writer who is certainly not a planner, researching I do online.
What was the inspiration behind what was published on FewerThan500.com?
A wonderful film called Let Him Have It. It was about the last man to be hanged in the UK.
What are you working on now?
I am currently editing my novel entitled Shadowfruit. Please visit my Facebook page for more details and it’s my intent to see this published this year. For my other published poems/short stories please visit my page here.
