HeatherRuffaloHow and when did you decide, or discover, that you were to be a writer?

What inspired you to write flash fiction?

My writers group begins each meeting by writing to three different prompts. While writing to these prompts, I realized I could complete a story within a brief amount of literary time and limited physical space.

Describe your writing process.

I spin around three times, do five deep knee bends, and clap my hands two times. Actually, I don’t have a specific process; it just happens.

What was the inspiration behind what was published on FewerThan500.com?

The Stephen King novel The Girl who Loved Tom Gordon.

What are you working on now?

I am currently taking a dictated series of facts from a man’s life and transforming them into a novel by adding my own creative details. I have been given free reign with my writing and creativity so I am thoroughly enjoying this project.
